Orthopedic Profile

Dr. Timothy Miller is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes in injuries and conditions of the lower leg.  He is originally from California, and graduated from Brigham Young University in Utah with a degree in Biochemistry. He then received his medical degree at the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine and went on to complete his Orthopaedic Surgical Residency training at the Greenville Health System in Greenville, South Carolina. In order to further his expertise, Dr. Miller, completed a Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, where he also served on the staff as an Assistant in Orthopaedic Surgery.

While at Massachusetts General Hospital, he worked and trained with the team physicians for the New England Patriots (NFL), Boston Red Sox (MLB), Boston Bruins (NHL), and the New England Revolution (MLS).

Foot Treatment & Philosophy

In addition to treating a wide range of general orthopedic problems, Dr. Miller specializes in treating orthopaedic conditions of the lower extremity, including sports injuries, fractures, arthritis, bunions, ankle instability, flatfoot reconstruction, and other deformities. He also treats cartilage, ligament, and tendon injuries and Achilles Tendon ruptures.

He provides both minimally invasive treatments such as arthroscopy, as well as more traditional approaches when necessary.

“I feel that the foot and ankle are underserved in the field of orthopaedics and look forward to using the latest and most up to date training and equipment to help my patients return to a full and active lifestyle.”

“I firmly believe that educating patients and providing non-operative treatment can help relieve many issues.  Surgery can be recommended, if necessary, once we have exhausted all other non-surgical options.”

Orthopedic Associations

Dr. Miller is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society, Texas Medical Association, Texas Orthopaedic Association, and Harris County Medical Society.

Dr. Miller enjoys spending his free time with his wife and children.
