Patient Care Philosophy

As an Anesthesiologist and Pain Management physician, I continue to refine my acumen in technical skills and the attainment of knowledge in my field. Utilizing my experience in perioperative medicine and chronic pain management, I strive to improve the quality of life and functionality of my patients through education, physical therapy, interventional strategies (such as neuromodulation, nerve ablation, etc.) and appropriate medication management.

Dr. Lewis received his undergraduate degree in Biology and a minor in Business from the University of Texas at Austin. Following college, Dr. Lewis attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, graduating magna cum laude. He then completed his Anesthesia residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where he was chosen by his peers to serve as chief resident during his final year of training.
