About the Provider

Dr. Shar combines current medical knowledge, compassion, and honed technical skills to do everything he can for his patients. From elective surgery to Level 1 Trauma, he has experience treating patients of all ages. Dr. Shar knows how important and how debilitating the conditions he treats are and what it can mean for his patients’ day-to-day lives. He places great emphasis on shared decision making when crafting treatment plans for his patients and strongly advocates non-surgical treatment when available. Dr. Shar is a devoted Texan and has served multiple communities through central and east Texas for years before relocating to the greater Houston metro area. Outside of work, Dr. Shar enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He loves traveling and watching football and mixed martial arts. He is fluent in English and Burmese.
