About the Provider

Dr. Timothy J. Miller is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and foot and ankle specialist providing comprehensive care for adults and children with foot and ankle conditions. He treats everything from routine foot and ankle pain to complex injuries, deformities, and arthritis, with a strong focus on helping patients return to an active, pain-free lifestyle.

Dr. Miller has advanced expertise in minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, including minimally invasive bunion correction, as well as ankle replacement and reconstructive procedures for patients with advanced ankle arthritis. His treatment philosophy emphasizes individualized care, evidence-based decision making, and selecting the least invasive option whenever appropriate.

A significant focus of Dr. Miller’s practice is the treatment of sports-related foot and ankle injuries. He regularly cares for athletes and active individuals with ankle sprains and instability, tendon injuries, fractures, stress fractures, and overuse conditions. His goal is not only to treat injury, but also to optimize recovery, performance, and long-term joint health.

Dr. Miller earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Brigham Young University and completed medical school at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Greenville Health System, followed by elite fellowship training in orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. During fellowship, he gained extensive experience managing complex foot and ankle conditions and caring for high-level athletes.

He is committed to patient-centered care, emphasizing clear communication and education so patients fully understand their diagnosis and treatment options. Whether managing pediatric foot concerns, sports injuries, chronic foot or ankle pain, or advanced arthritis requiring ankle replacement, Dr. Miller strives to help each patient regain confidence in movement and quality of life.

Dr. Miller is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS) and an active member of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS). He remains dedicated to delivering high-quality, modern foot and ankle care using the latest surgical and non-surgical techniques.
